27 Dell Compellent Using Storage Center with FCoE and Linux

# /usr/libexec/fcoe/dcbcheck.sh eth5

DCB is correctly configured for FCoE

At this point, the “fcoe” service can be enabled and configured to start at boot time.

# /etc/init.d/fcoe start

Starting FCoE initiator service: [ OK ]

# chkconfig fcoe on

After the couple of seconds required for negotiation, the FCoE interfaces should be seen as enabled from

the switches perspective. On the Linux host, we can see that the fcoe service has identified the FCoE

network properties, including the correct fabric per interface.
